Want to train for a race? Want to get in shape, lose weight, or achieve a PR? Maybe you want to explore new trails, or meet other local runners and walkers? Join Salinas Valley Elite Running Club! We are a fun, positive and motivated group, who enjoys training together for local races.

Starting September 4, we will start a training program geared towards local races in the fall and winter. Coach Christoper Zepeda will guide us with proper, professional training. "Coach Z" is the head coach of the champion Hartnell College Cross-Country and Track teams.

We meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 5:30PM at the Hartnell College Track, and on Saturday mornings at various locations throughout Monterey County. We typically run track workouts during the week, and do a longer run on Saturday. We enjoy exploring different parts of Monterey County, so Saturday's runs are a great way to explore your backyard. Popular meeting places include Fort Ord, the Monterey Bay Coastal Recreation Trail, Toro Park and more.
